Retail is undergoing a true revolution. Technology is changing the way brands connect with their customers… and that opens up a world of opportunities.
These and other ideas were at the heart of the roundtable ‘The retail of tomorrow’, organised by Disruptores last Tuesday, 4 November. A hugely enriching conversation with Jordi Roda Rius, Chief Digital Officer at Decathlon, Eva Zaera Cabrero, Digital Commercial Development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, and Fernando de Palacio, Marketing and Business Development Director at Leroy Merlin, where Glocally shared a clear idea: “There are no 100% digital or 100% physical consumers, just as there are no companies that can survive by keeping both worlds separate,” said our CEO, Fran Ares Torres.
Today, retail moves in a phygital environment where the physical and digital merge, and omnichannel is no longer an option but a necessity. The difference lies in how we use data: how we cross-reference it, combine it thanks to AI and turn it into decisions that truly improve the experience between brands and people.
The retail of tomorrow will be more human, more connected and people-centred. And at Glocally, we are already helping to build it. Many thanks to the Disruptores team, especially Mar Carpena Garcia for leading this session, and to all the professionals who contributed their vision to the debate.
